Experienced solicitor to be part of our expanding and dynamic PPP/PFI team based in Exeter. Previous PPP/PFI deal experience is essential and must include a sound understanding of standard form UK PFI documentation. The successful candidate will be expected to advise on project documentation, have good drafting skills, be comfortable with attending and running meetings and assisting in the project management of specialist input from across the firm. The Partners expect the successful candidate to take an active role in the development and growth of the practice including building relationships with clients and to develop their own business over time. We handle a wide range of contentious property matters from commercial disputes such as 1954 Act lease renewals and dilapidations claims to private client disputes regarding easements and restrictive covenants. We would expect the applicant to be able to run his/her own caseload under supervision for clients across the country and also to attend local Courts to conduct District Judge appointments or with Counsel. Some previous property experience is essential.
